Ellicottville 2007 Fall Festival Mountain Bike Race
1 lap was 6.4 Km

Finally no rain............in 2005 it snowed during the race and in 2006 in rained. The race takes place in Ellicottville, New York on the Ski slopes of Holiday Valley. One third of the race course is climbing up to the top of the mountain (an elevation of 700 feet), the second third across the side of the mountain, and the last third all downhill. It is a friendly Mountain Bike race where half the entrants are Canadian. You register the day of the race at a cost of $17.00. Once the race iS over with you can head back to the town of Ellicottville and enjoy their Fallfest Celebration. It's much like our Balls Falls event only they shut down the entire city and you get to walk through the streets, enjoying the food sold along the sidewalks with the craft tents in the middle of Main Street.
The RockyRoad Brownies, Oreo Cookies dipped in chocolate, and Rice Pudding are to die for.

Congratulations goes to Jessica Tripp who completed two laps and came in 1st. and
Peggy Humber who completed the Sports Class of three laps and came in 1st. and
Anna Tykoliz who completed the Sports Class of three laps.
